Hawkwind, Space Ritual, Orig UK UA Poster Sleeve Dble LP, VG+/EX, A-2U 1st Press

Description

Original UK United Artists tan labels of the very 1st press, with the Liberty/United Artists label credits and the earliest A-2U, B-2U, etc. matrices!   The matt foldout poster sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some storage rubbing on the outer folds of the sleeve. The spine is intact, but worn and only partly readable and the two plain inners are intact and are in VG+ condition.   The records are in visually in EX condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines on sides 1 & 2 & a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and needle scuffs visible on sides 3 & 4. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of spindle a few spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of the quieter spoken word passages, overall, still a clean, loud and punchy listen!   The matrix nos. are; UAD 60037, A-2U mother stamper 1-AL, B-2U mother stamper 2-MP, UAD 60038, A-2U mother stamper 1-PA, B-2U mother stamper 2-PH. This is one of the very early pressings of the original 1973 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!!
