Description
This auction is for a UK pressing of the classic 1971 Hawkwind album In search of Space (United Artists UAG 29202), the record comes housed in a tri fold out card sleeve and is complete with the Hawkwind log book. The record has UAG 29202 a -1 / b 2 matrix code indicating a first pressing, both record labels are clean and unmarked. There is a light hairline on the second side thought this is just a surface mark and not audible, otherwise the vinyl surface on both sides has a nice bright sheen and is free from any scratches. I have given it a good listen and it is free from any audible faults and sounds great - a decent pressing. I try to be quite conservative when grading vinyl to avoid buyer disappointment and I can confidently recommend this as being in VG condition. The sleeve has a tiny nick around the folding flap on the cover (see photo), though it is pretty hard to spot especially when the sleeve is folded up. The sleeve is Very Good + as this is the only fault, spine titles are intact no creasing, seam splits or ring wear it looks great. The log book also in excellent condition so quite an impressive set, I have no reserve but also no buy it now price.
