Description

Hayden Proffitt presents Jim Head and His Del Rays. This super RARE hot rod/surf LP is from 1965, pressed on the Hayden Proffitt record label, #22893. To my knowledge, only 600 of these LP's were pressed for Hayden way back in 1965. The cover pictures Hayden Proffitt and Jim Head and his Del Rays around the famous Mercury Comet Cyclone drag car. The photo was taken on the famous Lions Drag Strip in Long Beach, California. This famous drag strip went defunct in 1972. Both the cover and the record are in very good condition. The record actually looks to be in near mint condition. It's nice! And it is VERY COOL to listen to. Please see picture and please be sure to check out my other auctions. Thank you.
