My best friends dad was Hayden Thompson. Early Sun Records rockabilly artist. Hayden passed away back at the end of December. His son tasked me with selling some of his personal collection including his own recordings on acetate, test pressings, and records. I will be auctioning off a variety of records over the next few weeks. International shipping rates vary from domestic shipping.
Here it is. The Holy Grail of Hayden Thompson. Von 1001. Act Like You Love Me/I Feel the Blues Comin' On. The disc is VG+, plays great. There is some light staining on the label on both sides. There is a little bit of color bleeding from other records this one was stored with on the label, mainly on the Blues Comin' On side. Hayden's first record, recorded when he was only 16 years old in his home town of Boonesville, Mississippi.
