This is your chance to own a rare rockabilly record directly from the personal collection of a real rockabilly pioneer, Hayden Thompson!!!! 

Next to his first record on Von, his Profile release is the hardest to find.  I grew up with Hayden's son and still remain good friends with the family.  I had the pleasure of buying quite a few of Haydens own records a couple of years back, but Hayden kept a few for himself and now wants to auction one of his extra copies of Whatcha Gonna Do.  He doesn't do Ebay, so he sent it to me to auction for him.  The record in the picture with Hayden is the exact record up for auction here!!

This is a stunning original DJ Promo copy of Whatcha Gonna Do/Summers Almost Over on Profile 4015.  Matrix numbers PR 1426 and PR 1427 with Sheldon etched in the trailoff wax.  The Watcha Gonna Do side vinyl is NM, the Summers Almost Over side is VG++ with just a couple of very very light and small scuffs that do not effect play.  Both sides play grade NM.  The labels are NM with no writing, stickers or tears.  DJ Copy is stamped on the Summers Almost Over side.  There is no reserve, so have fun!!!

Needless to say, it's not very often you get to bid on a record directly from the collection of a rockabilly legend!!

Due to the rarity of this record, shipping outside the United States will only be done by either registered mail (if available) or Express Priority with tracking. Shipping cost outside the U.S. will be $38.00 for this record and $3.00 additional for each additional 45 if others are purchased.  Wait for an invoice if outside the U.S. before paying. 

I apologize about the high shipping costs outside the U.S. but the Postal Service dramatically increased  shipping rates outside the U.S. this year and I do not have a choice.......  I don't like it either!!

I pack well in record mailers lined with cardboard and record will be enclosed in a paper sleeve inside a plastic sleeve.

Payment must be received with three days of auction close or item will be relisted.

For the United States shipping is $4.00 for the first record and $0.50 for each additional record for first class or $8.00 for priorty mail $0.50 each additional 45.  This record will be insured with delivery confirmation.

Purchases over $100 to overseas buyers or Canada/Mexico will be sent Express Priority with tracking for $38.00 for one 45, $3.00 each additional 45 and $40.00 for one LP and $3.00 each additional
