Description
Hear 1960 Roy Montrell R&B Tittyshaker EX 45 (Mudd / The Montrell)
Roy Montrell – “Mudd” b/w “The Montrell” (Minit 619). Good fall of 1960 release by the rhythm & blues guitarist who performed on hundreds of records produced in New Orleans. he performed as a session musician for many famous artists, as well as playing in Fats Domino's band. He played on Little Richard's "Lucille", "Heeby-Jeebies", and "All Around the World," all charting R&B hits recorded in 1956. Side 1 is a good R&B tittyshaker while the flip is a cut that includes shades of blues and rockabilly. Take a listen to a little of both sides. Record is in EX condition.
