Description
Jimmy J and the Mark-Lee Sound – “I’m a Lover Man” b/w “Let’s Make Love” (Mar-Jo 17002). Great mid-60s sound on this small St Louis based label. Extended intro into a solid guitar solo and backed by sharp, short horns before the vocal. I assume Jimmy J is Jimmy Jones, since that is the name of the writer and underlined on the flip lable) and the vocal is by Don Rowe. The “I’m a Lover Man” side is in strong VG+ condition, but there are some surface scratchs that don’t affect play and some light label stains on the flip (never mind, you’ll not be playing that side anyway) so I’ll call it VG. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
