Bill Strickland - The Shape You Left Me In b/w Donna Jean (Fabar 15361). Great wild rocker from 1965 release on this relesae.by William "Bill" Strickland, A pioneering Columbus, Ohio rocker, Strickland was born in North Carolina and started in radio at 12 and at 14 formed the western bop ensemble Shorty Strickland & the Southern Strollers. He began to work as DJs in different cities, finally settling in Cincinnati, where his musical style began to turn to rock & roll and he adopted the nickname Wild Bill, for the dynamism of his performances. in 1965 he created the Fabar label and this as the first recording on the label. Solid late rockabilly sound. Take a listen. Record is in strong VG+ condition (includes autographed sleeve.)
