(Hear) Alive & Well Self-Titled Michigan Pvt Label Boogie / Disco/ Funk LP
Alive & Well” – “Same” (Alive & Well 38005). Alive & Well, the seven-piece dance band dating from the mid-70s began performing as the house band at Candlestone Inn in Belding and Stephanie’s Lounge in Grand Rapids. MI. This scarce 1980 LP features the group on 9 cuts that center around boogie, disco, & funk with some nice breaks – take a listen to a little from the cut, “Splurge” as an example. Cuts include: “Finder Keeper”, “My Favorite Friend”, “Make Yourself Happy”, “Splurge”, “Watch What You're Doin”, “I'm Gonna Getcha”, “More of You”, “Gonna Get Down Together”, and “Lounge Lizard”. Record is in strong VG to VG+ condition. Cover is in VG condition (wear especially along top edge and some ring wear). Postage will be paid by purchaser.
