Cool and VERY rare South Carolina psych pop album, with several originals! The only other copy we've ever seen for sale was a trashed, moldy one about 7-8 years ago.
US group from South Carolina. Released both secular and gospel records. This is their self-released secular album entitled "#1," featuring some originals and some covers. Their album "These Are...The Lancers" is primarily Christian. Butch Davis plays some excellent leads throughout the album.
Little seems to be known about the band, but producer Otis Forrest is a three-time Grammy Award nominee, songwriter, producer, arranger, engineer and pianist from Easley, South Carolina. Member of The Pilgrimaires and The Blue Ridge Quartet in the 1960's. Worked for Mark Five Studios (aka Mark V) Studios in Greenville, South Carolina for several years before starting his own recording studio.
