I just fell in love with Helen Merrill. I had no idea she had such a beautiful voice until I listened to this LP to check the condition. If your looking at this auction you are aware of the rarity of this lp. In pricing it, I had to consider the condition of both the jacket, original inner sleeve and the audio flaws. OK, jacket is shot!!! Inner sleeve is original but torn and dry rot. Now the important stuff. What i found was that one side sounds much better than the other and it has no skips at all and no extreme scratches but the hiss on one side is unfortunately obvious.. It appears to get worse when she starts to sing loud so I thought it may be my speaker but its not. Overall, I was glad that it was important enough for me to listen before posting because I was unaware of Helen Merrill. all things considered I will consider reasonable offers.
