Description
EmArcy MG 36006 Blue and silver label with a thin sliver of silver aroung the perimeter of the label. Drummer logo, mono, deep groove. The text on the back cover is in blue. Merrill sings on 7 tracks with Brown, trumpet; Danny Bank, flute; Jimmy Jones, piano; Barry Galbraith, guitar; Osie Johnson or Bobby Donaldson, drums; Milt Hinton, bass; Oscar Pettiford, bass, cello. Line notes and arrangements by Quincy Jones. Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. Some agingh along the edges of the back cover. Fine Gloss finished front cover. Also, some slight aging along the very edge of the front cover. This is minor. Record; Mint Visually shows no wear. There are no surface marking on the vinyl. Slight haziness on the surface of Side A which does not effect the sound. This condition is barely noticeable. The described haziness is in the vinyl and not a function of wear of care. The condition appears to be stable as the record is over 50 years old. Except for a very frew light crackles at the first few revolutions on Side B, Track 1, no surface noise. This is minor and I feel does not influence the Mint grading. Audibly checked
