Description

Helen Troy, I Think I Love You b/w I'll Be Around 45. Rare DJ white label pressing on Kapp Records # K-446X. Great Northern Soul ! Vinyl in very good minus to good plus condition. Both sides exhibit quite a number of surface marks, but I THINK I LOVE YOU (the uptempo song) plays very well, very very minimal surface noise. The flip side, I'LL BE AROUND (the ballad side), displays a bit more surface noise than the A side, but both sides are very listenable. Perhaps a professional cleaning could eliminate some of the surface noise. I don't have a professional vinyl cleaning machine so I can't try this out myself. However, as I said above, the surface noise is not intrusive, just a little poppy here and there. You get the feeling that this was a record that got some airplay somewhere. For this reason I am starting the bidding at a lower amount than if the record were in very good condition. Also there is a slight warp on the outer lip of the record, but it did not affect the playing of the record on my turntable, no jumps or skips. And I generally set my tonearm up fairly lightly. I'm mentioning this as I don't want anyone to feel misled or decieved. Paypal or money order (post office, western union, major bank etc) only please.
