Description
The UK original pressing of "Band Of Gipsies" on Track Records released with a cover photograph that features dolls of Hendrix, Brian Jones, Bob Dylan and British DJ John Peel, an early supporter of Hendrix. The music displays a dramatic shift from Hendrix's previous "psychedelic rock" sound he employed on the earlier Experience albums to a more funky and soul sound with less emphasis on his trademark guitar feedback. Released just three months before his death in 1970, it was the last album Hendrix himself authorized.
You will not find a better copy of this album anywhere. The vinyl and cover are in Near Mint condition. It's almost like you just bought it from the store it's so nice.
