Hello, up for sale is a great album in a very, very rare format! This is the Jimi Hendrix Experience's classic Electric Ladyland double album issued in 1968. Not only is this one fantastic album, the album I'm offering is an extremely rare white label promo (stereo - label Reprise 2RS 6307). Contains Henrix's classic cover of Dylan's All Along the Watchtower, which some have said contains the best guitar solo ever recorded. White label promos were issued as the very first press off of the masters, in miniscule quanties - creating an instant rarity that also sounds great! This album is in amazing shape for a 40-year old record. The cover grades a strong VG+ (some would call it a VG++). The graphics are bright, no writing, no tears. But, consistent with the grade, the album cover has some ringwear, along with some rub along the edges, spine and at the corners along the spine. The vinyl rates a very strong VG++. The snowy white labels are clean, with no spindle marks and no writing; the vinyl has strong luster, with minimal marks. Please note that the album plays with the occasional pop and crackle, but all four sides play through and sound strong and vibrant. The album comes with one of the two correct original inner sleeves, which grades VG+. I truly don't think there are very many white label promo copies of this classic album out there, which is why I have placed a reserve to protect my investment. Finally, I store all of my vinyl inside of a special plastic-lined inner sleeve, so as to best protect the vinyl, which is then placed inside of a separate outer cardboard cover to better protect the vinyl and the original cover. I also store the original cover inside of its own plastic outer envelope. My home is also smoke-free.
