Henry Mancini Soundtracks: Pink Panter, Hatari!, Breakfast at Tiffany's & more!
Recently while visiting family, we went to a storage facility where we have stuff from an uncle who passed away.  Over time, we've gone through this stuff to see what he had to see if we can sell any of it to help pay bills.  In one box I opened, I discovered a stack of 33 RPM Vinyl records from various artists.  Amongst the various titles, I discovered several from a famous composer Henry Mancini, who was well-known back in the 1960's and created some well known scores.
In total, I found five albums from Henry Mancini:

• The Blues and the Beat - RCA Victor Records - LPM-2147 - Recorded February 22, 26, and 29, 1960:  the album is in good condition, although there is a split at the top right corner.  The record comes in the original sleeve which, although yellowed from age, is completely intact, even with the plastic film over the hole that features the listing of each side's tracks.  The record itself is very clean, with only minor scratches, but nothing so deep as to effect the performance when played.
• Mr. Lucky Goes Latin - RCM Victor Records - LPM-2360 - Recorded 1961 - This album is from the movie of the same name and was composed and conducted by Henry Mancini.  The album is in good condition, although it too has a split at the top right corner.  The facing both front and back and clean and undamaged.  The record, unfortunately, does NOT have the original sleeve, and comes bare inside the album.  However, despite this, the record is in very good condition, clean and with no visible scratches.
• Hatari!  Music from the Paramount Motion Picture Score by Henry Mancini - RCA Victor Records - Recorded 1962 - LPM-2559:  The movie featured John Wayne and the album features an image of John Wayne atop a vehicle being charged at by a rhinoceros.  This album is in excellent condition with no tears or other damage.  Minor scuffing on the surface from storage and use, but the colors are still bright and vibrant.  The record comes in the original sleeve, which is intact and undamaged.  One corner was folded, but not torn.  The record is clean and undamaged.  It was cleaned to remove dirt and dust but no visible scratches which would hurt the recording.  The album featured that it was the newest release by '1962's double "Oscar" winner Mancini'.
• "Breakfast at Tiffany's"  Music from the Motion Picture score composed and conducted by Henry Mancini - RCA Victor Records - Recorded 1961 - LSP-2362 - Starring Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard and Mickey Rooney.  Excellent, Near Mint condition - Album cover retains the original plastic / cellophane wrap that records came in back at the time.  Image of Audrey Hepburn on the cover is bright and vibrant.  No slip cover present, but the record itself is very clean and free from any scratches.  It was lightly cleaned to remove dust and dirt from storage.
• The Pink Panther  Music from the Film Score Composed and Conducted by Henry Mancini - RCA Victor Records - LPM-2795:  Perhaps the most famous music from Henry Mancini, the Pink Panther Theme alone is immediately recognizable even to this day.  Still wrapped in the plastic / cellophane wrap from back in the day, this album is in excellent condition with only minor scuffs along the edge.  Record comes in the original slip cover, which is intact, although the sides have begun to split from age.  The record is clean and free from scratches on the surface.  It was cleaned to remove dirt and dust.
