Description

Henry Townsend was a throwback to the pre-war years of the 1920s when he first recorded for Columbia label. He remained active and played until his death in 2005. He always stayed true to his roots. This 1961 release on Prestige/Bluesville label#1041 is quite rare and is an excellent example of just how good he was. 11 songs including Cairo Is My Babys Home which was his signature piece. Vinyl is shiny M-. Back and front cover look good with 3" light seam wear and 1" on top seam. No Splits. Very nice copy.
