Description
Henryk Szeryng in Recital - RCA Living Stereo LSC-2421, 1S/1S, Shaded Dog label, US pressing.
Condition: Disc: NM, no marks on vinyl, no spindle trails. I've played this through, and it plays NM on both sides. However, on side 1, a bit of low level groove noise can be heard a few times less than a second each. This is not damage but clearly in the pressing as manufactured and is mentioned for completeness. Jacket: VG+/VG++, minor scuff on left side of jacket front, bit of wear near opening. All seams solid and intact. A small data and price written in ink on back, lower left edge. (Says "4/3/61 6th Avenue Records $3.98". Those were the days.)
About Grading: My grading is based primarily on a careful visual inspection. If I see any marks, I will check them by playing and will tell you both about the marks and what I heard. Occasionally, I will audition a record all the way through if rare, and will again tell you if I do this and what I heard. It is unfortunate that time does not allow me to listen to everything but I try to apply generally used grading standards conservatively. In addition, you always have a money back return privilege if you disagree with my grading (see below for details).
