Description

The first pressing jackets had the same rear cover

whether they were mono or stereo. The company

placed a "hype sticker" in the upper-right corner

for the STEREO versions, but the back side still

has the original Mono catalog number found on

this EXCELLENT condition jacket: JLP 1044,

which is also printed on the labels, see our photos.

Both labels have the "deep groove" on each side,

and the bottom of each label has "New York 36, N. Y."

printed, and the bottom of the jacket on the back,

has "1650 Broadway, New York 36, N. Y." under

JUBILEE RECORDS. And, as with some other

similar releases, the record company was misspelling

Kenny Dorham's name as Kinny Durham.
