Description
b/w "Please Leave My Mind".
On the green UK Columbia label DB 8083 from 1966. Ultra-rare "Demonstration Record-Not For Sale". "K T" stampers. Martrix nos. 26758-1 and 26759-1 in dead wax.
These legendary slices of early British psychedelia were written by Tony McPhee and he formed Herbal Mixture between one of the many break-ups of The Groundhogs. They were a trio comprising McPhee guitar & vovals, Pete Cruikshank bass and Mike Meekham drums. True to form, they split at the end of' '67
The record has numerous light scuffs and hairlines but plays through fine with no sticks or jumps. I would grade it VG. As both sides were recorded at VERY high volume any light surface noise is not really much of an issue
"Record Collector" gradings used
Europe shipping is £2.20. Rest of World £3.30
