Description
Both labels have NY USA address; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. The record has the "ear" and "van gelder" inscribed in the dead wax. 6 tracks with leader, Herbie Hancock, piano; Freddie Hubbard, trumpet; Dexter Gordon, tenor sax; Butch Warren, bass; Billy Higgins, drums.
Cover: VG++ Intact and clean. 1 small mark on the bottom edge. Partial record ring a the top of the back cover with slight age spots. Very little overall aging. Fine condition.
Record: VG+ Visually shows no wear. 2 or 3 faint rub marks on Side and 1 rub mark on Side 2. 1 click on the last revolution of Track 2 on Side 1. On Side 2 there are several light clicks just past the midpoint on Track 1. These are barely audible. On Track 2. 3 extremely light clicks close to the midpoint on Track 2, 2 additional faint clicks and 4 or 5 clicks at the end of Track 2. On Track 3 there are a series of about 20 clicks a the beginning of the Track followed by several more light clicks. There are a few additional clicks on the balance of the Track. There are not apparent marks on the record that would result in this noise. Audibly checked.
