Up for auction from 1957 "Here's Little Richard" Debut LP Specialty SP-100 1st press Black & Yellow Label. Early 1957 long playing micro-groove pressing with a shellac like vinyl that is much more rigid, and fragile than the late 1957 reissues of this LP 2100 resulting in the scarceness of a lot of these original survivors, and has a book value of up to $500.00. Laminated COVER is VG++ Has a 2"seam split at the top right corner of opening, and a 1/2" at top left corner as shown with the rest of the spines all intact and amazingly nice with a clean glossy front the best I've seen, and the back having only a hint of discoloration from it's 58 years of age with a small pen mark as shown is overall very well preserved as most of these covers are tough to find a clean copy. RECORD is G+ to VG- Looks worse than it plays has a lot of hairlines, rubs, and scratches none to deep, and plays amazingly well as the music over powers the crackles and pops that can be heard between passages making it very loud, and an enjoyable listen on this killer rocker record. LABELS are pretty clean with some spindle marks, and a small 7 stamp on label 1. Comes with original generic inner sleeve.
