Description

A year after releasing 1969's brutally heavy and complex 'Sea Shanties' LP, England's High Tide had no other option; follow it up with an even heavier progressive set of tunes. Their 1970 self-titled album features only four long tracks of the heaviest electric violin/guitar interplay ever. Insanely composed, yet somewhat improvised, High Tide keeps the acid rock burning all night. This 1984 edition is in great EX/EX. Cover shows a bit of shelf wear, probably closer to VG++ with no tears or seam splits. Back cover shows what could be ringwear in the future if not kept secure in a plastic sleeve. A few almost unseen creases, but looks great over all. Vinyl looks and sounds killer! and has probably been spun a few times ever. Strangely enough, High Tide was put on hold after this album with violinist, Simon House joining Hawkwind and the next High Tide album emerging years later in 1986.
