Description
Original UK/Italy Cobra label stereo press LP.
The collapse of the original band in 1970, happened when drummer Roger Hadden was hospitalized during the recording sessions for their third Liberty album. Although the details are uncertain, a two-track recording of either demo's or practice sessions from the 1970 third album recordings survived. As part of his reforming of the Band in the 1980's Tony Hill began releasing these, as well as recording new material. Whilst he was unable to get a deal in the UK, Hill turned to Italy and Cobra Records, importing the results back into the UK in the late 1980's.
With the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices & no stampers of the first press issue!
The matrix nos. are; CIPO-019, A-1 matrix stamper ?, B-1 matrix stamper ?. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1989 UK/EU stereo 1st issue of this album.
