Description
Very rare, very early 1st UK pressing of High Tide: Sea Shanties, released on the Liberty label in 1969, Cat number LBS 83264. The very first copies (of which this is one) were released with the matt gatefold sleeve and BLUE Liberty label, which was fairly quickly replaced with the more common black label. Very hard to find, especially in this condition.
The vinyl itself is in VG+ condition, with no jumps, no sticking, and excellent sound quality throughout. There are just a few very minor hairline scratches and one or two minor marks, but nothing at all that affects the overall listening quality. Really, a lovely clean copy of this classic prog rock album, much sought after by rock fans and collectors alike. It is from my own collection, I have had it since its release and it has been well looked after.
The album cover is a lovely gatefold and is also in Very Good condition, with no rips or tears and nothing written on it. just some minor scuffing around the edges and some general age marking, but nothing too serious.
All in all, a very nice copy, which will be sent by Royal Mail tracked and signed for, and will be packaged in a proper mailer with bubble wrap to ensure safe arrival.
