High Tide war eine der ersten Britischen Bands die eine Violine als vollwertiges Rockinstrument einsetzten. Mit Simon House’s Violine, bekam die Band eine einzigartige Sound-Signatur. Der klassisch ausgebildete Geiger, zeigte dass Rock Violine nicht nur eine marginale Zierde sein muss. House peitschte sein Instrument bis an die Obergrenze und lieferte sich wilde musikalische Duelle mit Tony Hills Gitarre.

Condition: “Very Good Plus “. Die LP ist noch in recht gutem Zustand. Es befinden sich einige feine Oberflächenkratzer/Wischer auf der Platte, die sich aber nicht sonderlich negativ auf die Klangqualität auswirken. Wahrscheinlich sind die Meisten vom Herausziehen und Reinschieben ins Inner Sleeve . Leise Grundgeräusche in der Einlaufrille und an manchen ruhigen Stellen sind vermutlich eher auf die Pressung zurückzuführen. Die LP wurde mit Kopfhören geprüft, über Lautsprecher sind die leisen Grundgeräusche kaum noch wahrnehmbar. Das Laminiertes Cover noch recht gut erhalten. Keine Risse oder sonstige gröbere Schäden auf dem Cover. An einigen Stellen ist es leicht nachgedunkelt rechts oben, neben Logo beschriftet. An den Rändern sind leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen und die Ecken etwas angestoßen, aber nicht umgeknickt. Das Innere des Klappcovers ist noch sehr gut erhalten (Siehe Fotos)
High Tide was one of the first British bands who used a violin as a full rock instrument. With Simon House's violin, the band got a unique sound signature. The classically trained violinist, showed that rock violin not only has to be a marginal ornament. House lashed his instrument up to the upper limit and had wild musical battles with Tony Hills guitar.
Condition: "Very Good Plus". The LP is still in pretty good condition. There are some fine surface “hairlines” /scratches on the record, but not particularly negative impact on the sound quality. Probably the most caused by pulling in and out from the Inner sleeve. Quiet noise in the lead-in groove and on some quiet parts are probably due more to the pressure. The LP was tested with headphones, through loudspeakers the faint noise is barely perceptible.
Cover: ”Very Good”The laminated cover is still quite well preserved. No cracks or other coarser damage on the cover. Slightly darkened on some parts and hand lettered on top right, next to the logo. Slightly bumped at the corners, but not kinked. The inside of the gatefold cover is still very well preserved. (See photos)
