Description

High Tide’s debut LP “Sea Shanties” from 1969 is a blisteringly HEAVY piece of proto metal. Check out the lead track “Futilist’s Lament” to get an idea of the absolute mind blowing stuff going on over the duration of this LP. This is an ORIGINAL 1969 press (2nd) on Liberty Records.

Condition is strong VG+ no real marks or scratches, but it could benefit from a good cleaning. I played it (loud) recently and it sounds amazing for a record it’s age. Sleeve is in VG+ maybe VG++ condition, it has a very small cut out on the lower right corner (see photos). So, some general wear but overall for the age and scarcity of this LP it’s a damn good one.

This is a super rare record and it is just killer. I’m offering it at a lowish starting bid because I’m not a collector or a store, just want it to go to another music fan who will love it.
