Description

Pink Floyd's 2nd album (1968) - A Saucerful of Secrets

Blue, Black & Silver Columbia label (SCX 6258) - Stereo

Matrix Markings: YAX 3633-1 and YAX 3634-1

Original laminated flipback sleeve - highly prized!

The record is in its original EMI inner sleeve (which has a slight split on one side).

Track Listing:

1. Let There Be More Light - Waters

2. Remember a Day - Wright

3. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun - Waters

4. Corporal Clegg - Waters

5. A Saucerful of Secrets - Waters; Wright; Mason; Gilmour

6. See-saw - Wright

7. Jugband Blues - Barrett

This is a really rare and extremely collectable record - definitely one you want to have in your collection!  The flipback sleeve is a sign that this is the original release - a very nice item.  The quality of the music itself goes without saying - this is Pink Floyd, after all!  It is the only album that features both Syd Barrett and David Gilmour (misspelt as "Gilmore") ... but you probably already knew that.

The record is in VG+ condition: a couple of hairline marks are visible under close scrutiny but it plays very well.  The cover is in VG+ condition too, with just a little scuffing at the corners.  The spine is very good for the age of the record.  I am always cautious in my gradings as I would hate to disappoint a buyer.

This is a really valuable and sought-after item, but I'll start the bidding at a relatively low price.  No reserve on this item.  Good luck!  Didn't think I'd ever sell this, but times are tough!

I will post the record within 2 days of PayPal payment clearing.  It will be in a stiff cardboard LP mailer, further strenghened by an additional cardboard insert.

Please take a look at my other listings.
