Description

Here's a clean copy of Hilton Felton's "A Man For All Reasons," on his Hilton's Concept label out of Washington, D.C.  This very rare mid to late 1970s LP features members of the Blackbyrds and the Three Pieces, and includes the nine-minute track "Bee Bop Boogie," which is full of ridiculous drum breaks.  The rest of the LP is competent soul jazz, but that one track is stunning.  This copy has the second cover, with Felton at the piano.  Cover grades VG+, with moderate ring and seam wear, and a name written in fairly unobtrusive ballpoint pen on the back cover.  Disc grades strong Ex, with very little evidence of play, but with a name in ballpoint pen on the B side label.  Altogether a great copy of a very rare funk LP. US shipping is $7 priority mail, plus optional insurance.  Overseas airmail shipping is $12 to Europe or $14 to Asia.  All overseas buyers must use Paypal.  I also prefer Paypal for domestic bidders, but other methods work, too. Thanks for looking, and please email any questions -- Paul
