Back to Black reissue of Serge’s classic 1971 LP.


This issue is a double-LP and not only includes the original LP remastered but also a second volume of sessions and discarded takes from the recording sessions.


The copy here offered for sale is brand-new and sealed and therefore in mint condition. The photos are a mixture of my playing copy and some stock photos, used for illustration and to show the tracklisting.


As I am in possession of a playing copy I can attest to the incredible dynamics of this remaster, superb sonics with sserge’s voice in particular especially real and room-filling. Likewise the Sessions offer an insight into how the record came together while offering some extra tracks which serve to lengthen this otherwise quite short but highly-influential LP.
