Description
Here is the seldom available Holiday Inn full collection of Irving Berlin's timeless songs from early 1942, featuring
the first time 'White Christmas" was sung by Bing Crosby, along with other holiday songs for Christmas, Easter, 4th
of July, etc. The discs are all shiny and VG except the 'Song of Freedom/Plenty to be Thankful For" disc that has a
half inch chip at the end, no crack so it is can be played, but not at the beginning. "Be Careful its My Heart" has a tiny
chip at the very beginning but does not affect playing surface. The binder is solid but has wear, and all the sleeves
intact, and is in good condition as showing in the photo. The discs all play well as I have personally tested them. I
am not a record "grader", but you can see from the pictures they are shiny and in good shape with that one exception.
The "White Christmas" disc alone is worth this price in this condition and can be enjoyed for years to come. These early 40's schellac records are very brittle and should be played manually, not on a record changer. . I have also included the 4 page booklet insert that came with the record set that explains all about the show and its stars, very nice piece to accompany the record set. Please ask questions as this is sold as is, and is described as best as I can. It will be carefully packaged for shipment. Get it now for the holidays!!
