Description

Hard Bop at it's best here is Horace Parlan's On The Spur of The Moment Blue Note 4074 mono original pressing 47 West 63rd street pressing. The cover has a 47 West 61st street address. Stanley Turrentine, Tommy Turrentine, George Tucker and Al Harewood make up the band and this is one of the best early sixties hard bop records and should be bid on as such. This is an original pressing that has the "ear" and RVG stamped in the dead wax on BOTH sides. The record label, personnel and covers are all pictured in the photos above. The record condition is VG+, Side 1 is very shiny and glossy and in superb condition, Side 2 has less luster (probably from cleaning). The record has been played on both sides and is in VG+ condition, slight entry surface noise for about 5 to 7 seconds then super music from Horace and company. Cover is VG+ and  has no writing, seam splits or major wear at all. Investment quality record. VG+ LP and cover, slight loss of sheen on side 2 but plays excellent. PayPal preferred. Delivery confirmation included in shipping costs. Original pressing from 1961, mono in great shape.
