Description
This is the deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Horace Parlan “On the Spur of the Moment” on Blue Note BLP 4074. Although the original pressing of this record has a West 63rd St. address on both labels, this example has it only on Side 2; strangely, Side 1 has a New York USA label with “Review Copy” stamped at the top. Side 1 has a dull finish, while Side 2 has high luster; however, both sides look and play as new, bright and clear; perhaps played once. The laminated cover, with the New York 23 address, is bright and clean throughout, with slight wear on the bottom seam, at the corners, and a few small chips along the right edge of the back slick; clean pencil erasure at the top left corner of the back. Illustrated inner sleeve included. Personnel include Tommy and Stanley Turrentine, George tucker, and Al Harewood. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
