Description

Horace Silver, "The Cape Verdean Blues". Blue Note BLP 4220. Original Release. Mono. Ear. New York. Van Gelder. This record shows some light surface scratches and a little bit of small light scuffing but the vinyl still retains shine. Both sides play well. On side one there are some noticable background crackles that last until about the middle of the first song. The rest of side one plays nice and clean. On side two there are a few light background crackles at the very beginning of the first song but the music really covers them up so it's really not an issue. The rest of side 2 plays clear an clean with a bold sound... The cover shows age and wear. All of the seams are intact but the top seam is close to splitting. Please view enlarged photos.
