Description
ARTIST: Horace Silver Quintet
TITLE: 6 Pieces of Silver
LABEL: Blue Note BLP 1539 (original c1956 deep groove pressing, early Lexington Ave address on back cover and both labels, "ear" mark and RVG in dead wax on both sides, flat edge)
CONDITION (vinyl/sleeve): VG / G I played the album all the way through because there are scuffs and a couple short scratches on side 1, and a long light scratch on side 2. There were no skips, but during the quiet parts there's general background noise and there's at least one louder pop. I think it's a conservative VG. The cover gets severely downgraded due to a moldy section at the bottom (see back cover photo, left side), with some paper loss and the very beginning of a seam split. The other bottom corner is frayed, there are two faint record store stamps, and a red stain on the back above the title. Plus general shelfwear. The labels are in VG++ condition, no real defects to note.
