Description
Blue Note 4110, mono, with New York USA written on both labels; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. The record has the "ear" and "van gelder" inscribed in the dead wax. 5 tracks with Silver, piano; Blue Mitchell, trumpet; Junior Cook, tenor sax; Gene Taylor, bass; John Harris Jr. drums.
Cover: VG to VG+ Intact with some corner wear. Small ink marking on 3 letters in the title of the record on the back cover. Minor aging on the back cover.
Record: VG+ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 5 or 6 extremely light, short surface rub marks. These do no seem to effect the sound. The record appears to have been played only a few times and seems to have be carefully handled. There are some clicks on Track 1, Side 2 towards the end of the track. There is no indication of a scratch that could be the source for this light noise. There are a few small discoloration spots on the viny which are in the pressing. These do not effect the sound. I have added the VG+ to the overall rating to reflect the described noise. Except for this interval, there is no other surface noise. Audibly checked.
