Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 1520, Horace Silver Trio And Spotlight On Drums Art Blakey - Sabu, a blue and white, 47 West 63rd, deep groove, microgroove, no inc. (side 2) label, mono issue of this classic record with RVG etched and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The laminated cover, with it's 43 West 61rd St. New York 23 address, is excellent, unblemished and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful Blue Note early mono recording.
