Description
“Horace Silver and The Jazz Messengers” Blue Note Records 1956 2nd pressing (# 1518 mono) in a cardboard sleeve. This is the ‘56 ‘split label’ edition - one side of the label is the Lexington address & the other is W. 63rd St. There is no ‘Inc.’ on the label. The record grading is Excellent (EX) with hardly any surface noise. The following is on the runout groove:
-
Side A): (etched) BN-LP-1518-A. RVG ‘Plastylite ear’ 9M
-
Side B): (etched) BN-LP-1518-B. RVG ‘Plastylite ear’ 9M
The outer case is Excellent (EX) with just minor age wear on the back cover. There are no splits at all and just some tiny dings on the seams & spine along with ~2-½” hairline “crack” on the spine. The spine is blank with no printed information. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom. This item will also be insured for the full sale value at my cost.
