Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Horace Silver “The Stylings of Silver” on the rare West 63rd New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1562. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; inaudible patterning on Side 2 that is typical of records that have been stored for a long time in their original inner sleeve. The laminated West 63rd St. cover has a ¼” chip on the bottom seam, near the opening, and a 3 ½” x ¼” chip along the right edge of the back slick. Personnel include Art Farmer, Hank Mobley, Teddy Kotick, and Louis Hayes. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
