Description
HOUSTON WELLS & THE MARKSMEN - '...WESTERN STYLE'
This scarce British-styled Country & Western album dates from late 1963 and was produced by legendary producer Joe Meek.
This NEAR MINT copy is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1215 and bears the 'R.G.M. Sound Recording' text.
Matrix numbers: XEX 451-1N & XEX 452-1N

Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A superb pair showing just two or three spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate factory-fresh playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. You will not find a cleaner copy.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This copy appears to have been played one or twice by its original owner and as a result the sound perfectly clean, clear and totally unworn throughout, with Joe Meek's production shining through on every track. Cover: EXCELLENT
A 1st-class example which has bears little more than minor storagewear to show for its 50 years.
The high-gloss front panel is clean & unworn with no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing. All corners are in fine shape and free from any bumps or bruising & both opening edges are undamaged. The exposed rear panel is clean & white overall with just some discolouration to the flipbacks and two bends towards the upper left corner.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean & perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean, flat & unworn with no writing, tears or seam splits.
