Description
You are bidding on the rare LP acetate:
"How I Won The War" Radio Spots, produced by Floyd L Peterson Inc- 101A West 55 New York NY 10019 581-7505 in 1967.
*Wow- this sure is a strange find- a one-sided acetate containing six different radio ads for the 1967 film "How I Won the War", starring John Lennon! The film was directed by Richard Lester, who also did "Help!" and "A Hard Day's Night". The ads contain the voice of an announcer of the day talking about the film, as well as a variety of clips from the youth of NYC talking about how the film affected them. There are three 60 second ads, two 30 second ads, and one 10 second ad.*
The Vinyl is visually-graded in VG condition. When looked at under a bright light, it looks nice with some minor surface marks. The acetate does need to be cleaned (something I'm not comfortable doing). It sounds crisp and clear with some very minor surface noise in the background, which might be due to the dust on it. There is a quick needle-jump at the beginning, but this doesn't affect the play.
Shipping is calculated by ebay at actual shipping costs. For combined shipping, add $1 per additional LP. If you buy many records from me, they can all be shipped together in one box. International bidders, please keep in mind that once you go over 4 pounds (roughly 4 LPs), 1st Class International is no longer an option, and you must ship priority.
Insurance is your option as a buyer. International bidders, please keep in mind that you can only purchase insurance through the USPS if you ship express mail, which is very expensive. Please contact me if you would prefer this option. Otherwise, your record cannot be insured.
