Description
About This Record. This is a RARE original stereo pressing of Howlin' Wolf's Rockin' Chair LP, original USA Stereo copy with stereo sticker on mono cover, Chess LPS-1469. Tough one, and a keeper copy for the most discriminating vinyl hound. These stereo copies are much rarer than the mono copies; they released a few stereo copies using old mono covers.. I am also including a photocopy (not the original) of an original Press Kit photo from Chess Records of which only a few are known to exist.
See my Other Howlin' Wolf records for sale; I will be offering more Blues records over the next few days that end at the same time as this auction, or a little before or after.
See details below and zoom in on photos. I just found some cool things on eBay that I've been looking for . . . and now I must pay for them! I will be selling other vinyl ending on the same day that I will be listing over the next few days. Keep your eyes out!
READ my feedback and See my detailed photos of this! No Reserve! I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA buyers) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.
Please note that I work for eBay and this link is to the Code I have to abide by as an eBay employee: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-employee.html I have no clue who works in the Collectibles Division and am not involved in any policy or other decisions that go on; I just happen to like vinyl and happen to work at eBay
Vinyl Condition. Near Mint minus keeper Stereo copy. Very rare in stereo, and very very rare in this condition..
Cover Condition. Near Mint minus; just light corner rounding; clean Stereo sticker on mono cover. This comes with a black & white photocopy of a very very rare B&W Chess Records Press Kit photo of Howlin' of which only two originals are known to exist.
Innsersleeve. This comes cleaned on my VPI innersleeve in a rice paper sleeve,
Labels. Near Mint.
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years. I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved. This comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I will ship by any method you want. But if you do not pay for protecting your purchase, the record will be shipped at your own risk and not mine. I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..
