Huey Lewis & the News Off the Record 2 LP Westwood One Radio Program 4-16-84
“Off the Record Special with Mary Turner – “Huey Lewis and the News” (Westwood One – OTR 84-17). Off the Record was a long-running radio show by Westwood One featuring music and interviews with popular artists and hosted by Mary Turner. Frequently coinciding with the release of a new album by the featured artist the program includes an interview with the artist as well as cuts by the artist (often from the new LP). This program featured Huey Lewis and the News and was for the week of April 16, 1984. It lasts for 53:20 minutes (not including ads) and features several cuts form the LP, “Sports” plus additional cuts. It includes the songs, “Crack Me Up”; “Finally Found a Home”; “Heart and Soul”; “Workin For a Living”; “Some of My Lies Are True”; “Stop Trying”; “Do You Believe in Love”; “Only One”; “I Want a New Drug”; “Walking a Thin Line”; “Heart of Rock and Roll”; and “Buzz Buzz Buzz.” Includes Cue Sheet and performance affidavit card. Records are in M- condition. Cover is in VG condition – some creases and wear. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
