Description

"Eat It" was the seventh album by English rock band Humble Pie, released in April 1973 on the A&M Label. A double album, it reached #13 on the Billboard 200, and #34 in the UK. The album title Eat It means "dig it", although there is also an innuendo of cunnilingus. as with the group's name, which refers to a woman's crotch. Each side of this double album is different: Side 1 features Steve Marriott penned rock and roll, Side 2 has classic R&B covers, Side 3 is a collection of acoustic Steve Marriott songs and Side 4 features Humble Pie in concert. This album showcases the dynamic diversity and talent of Steve Marriott's gritty bluesy vocals with some funky soul mixed in throughout along with straight ahead blistering rockers. This record is the ORIGINAL US 1973 Gatefold Vinyl Pressing with BOOKLET on the A&M Label. The catalog # on the spine is: SP 3701. There is NO BARCODE. Record is SEALED and in overall EX+ Condition.
