OK - BACK TO LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES - This is a PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED 1982 U.S. STAR MERCHANTS RECORDS LP titled 'Musical Moments From I Love Lucy', containing twelve uncut musical compositions from the soundtracks of various episodes of the 'I Love Lucy' television series and Desi Arnaz's 'Tropical Trip' radio show. It is Star Merchants Records catalog number SM-1951, issued to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the debut of the legendary 'I Love Lucy' television series.
The front cover of this LP has been PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED by 'I Love Lucy' co-star Desi Arnaz. Desi Arnaz personally signed this LP in 1982, when he visited Miami, Florida and was honored as 'Carnival King' of the Calle Ocho festival in Miami, the largest annual Hispanic event in South Florida. The LP was signed for and in the presence of Charles B. Folds, who at that time was the Director Of Press And Community Relations for television station WSVN-TV Channel 7 in Miami. Mr. Folds has authenticated the autograph on this LP with his personal letter of authenticity, written on his personal WSVN-TV letterhead. The letter of authenticity written by Mr. Folds will be included with this LP. The letter of authenticity from Mr. Folds reads as follows:

Visual condition of record is VG with a few surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, some slight warps which also do not affect play, and what appears to be some heat damage on one side of the record which also does not affect play, I have play tested the record on that side and it plays perfectly despite the noted flaws The record could be easily and inexpensively replaced with a better copy if the buyer so chooses; irregardless the main value of this item resides in the personal Desi Arnaz autograph, which is done in black marker, reads 'For Charlie - Felicidades! Desi' and is clearly visible in the accompanying image. Condition of cover is VG+ with splits and fraying along the right hand 6" of the top edge and in the middle 2" of the bottom edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside), a little contact and ring wear, and some wear and flaking along all three edges. Cover has no water damage, tears, writing (other than the Desi Arnaz autograph), or stickers.
