I Mat 65 - Arrivano i Mat 65
RI- FI RFS LP 14507 - issued in 1966
Here's another really nice Italian 60's beat albums, one of the best alongside with The Kings (see my other auctions) and I Corvi. The Mat 65 play an excellent and sometimes WILD rhythm'n'blues that quite often includes some excellent guitar solos; the album has sometimes a psychedelic mood, especially in the a-la Sgt.Pepper intro of the album. The record is actually presented as a live album with cries and applauses among songs (but I don't really believe it was!) Though some compositions are sung in Italian it is not disturbing at all for the non italian language listener but the majority if the songs are sung in English. The album is a mixture of original tracks and cover versions. Among these deserve a mention their renditions of The Yardbirds For your Love, The Beatles Yesterday, Rolling Stones I'm Free (quite an unusual choice for a cover!) The Animals For Miss Caulker (another unusual choice!) and, above all a fantasic version of We've Got to Get Out of This Place still from The Animals repertoire.

Scrivetemi se desiderate qualsiasi chiarimento o dettaglio, specie sulle condizioni che, per brevità, illustro solo in inglese!
CONDITIONS:
COVER: Well, this is not a mint copy for sure, but it is really worth buying (and listening!) The cover is maybe only VG but still, as with all of my records, with NO WRITINGS, no tears and no missing pieces. Obvious but absolutely acceptable wear at four corners (see photo) The cover still retain quite a glossy appearance, no seam splits, spine is intact!
RECORDS: The record is visually VG+, maybe even EX- with a few abrasions and marks none of which too deep. Of course I did listen the album twice from the beginning to the end, it plays absolutely nice VG+ conditions; it plays beautifully especially because among tracks you have no silent parts but cries and applauses, so you will hardly hear any background noise at all!

We take Paypal of course. We can also accept: bank swift, international bank cheque drawn in any currency, international postal money order (where available). I do not accept cash sent by mail (my auction was already cancelled once for writing so!) though if you want to meet me in person and put the money in my hands I think it is OK! :-) Bonifico bancario e contrassegno dall'Italia sono OK!
POSTAGE:
Registered airmail up to one kilo from Italy is still quite cheap, basically around £ 8. Faster or safer postage methods are of course available at cost.
