TRENO DI LIBERTA' (EXPRESS) / RENDIMI L'ANIMA ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by COMPLESSO "I RAMINGHI" Original Italian pressing on the BENTLER label (BE / NP 5093), from 1975. Super-obscure single by the cult Italian prog group featuring their still practically unknown and killer version of a BT Express funk anthem. I Raminghi's psychedelic B-Boy rock disco take on the EXPRESS theme is amazing... reinventing and stretching-out the funk classic with boom bap - hip hop beats / hippie flute solos / groovy synthesizer / jazz horns and funky stop-start rhythms. Great for DJs. Huge production sound with thumping drums. RENDIMI L'ANIMA is a more classic sounding Italian prog theme but with another hip hop friendly twist. Lots of compressed beats a la Sharon Mhati Chatam's Fantasy :) Same group behind IL Lungo Cammino Dei Raminghi session. Rare 45!!! Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to shiny M-) with some hairlines from sleeve removal. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. Surface noises to outros of each side and intro of 'Rendimi..' side. Vinyl also has 4 tiny pressing bubbles (mostly to 'Rendimi...' side so a few soft bumps). The picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some creasing / ring dirt marks and a couple of mini stains from storage. Rare 45!!!
