TRENO DI LIBERTA' (EXPRESS) / RENDIMI L'ANIMA ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by COMPLESSO "I RAMINGHI" Original Italian pressing on the BENTLER label (BE / NP 5093), from 1975. Obscure single by the cult Italian prog group featuring their still practically unknown and killer version of a BT Express funk anthem. I Raminghi's psychedelic B-Boy rock disco take on the EXPRESS theme is amazing... reinventing and stretching-out the funk classic with boom bap - hip hop beats / buzz flute breaks / groovy analogue synthesizers / jazz horns and funky stop-start rhythms. Great for DJs. Booming production sound with thumping drums. Same group behind IL Lungo Cammino Dei Raminghi session. Rare 45!!! Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines from sleeve removal. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The picture sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with a little creasing and some ring dirt marks from storage. Rare 45!!!
