Here is your chance to buy a great and MEGA RARE album by IAN A. ANDERSON which is titled "ROYAL YORK CRESCENT" and is an original 1ST PRESSING (MATRIX NUMBERS VTS 3 A1 / VTS 3 B1 - with the earliest Village Thing record label design)  release of the album on the VERY RARE AND collectable VILLAGE THING RECORD label (VTS 3). There was only ever very few copies of this album produced and it is highly sought after now by record collectors. If you like the Village thing label, or like music by Wizz Jones, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Marc Ellington, Al Stewart and other great folk troubadours AND PSYCH FOLK LP's this LP is for you. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL VILLAGE THING RECORD AND SLEEVE AND INSERT, BUT WITH THIS UNUSUAL VERSION OF THIS LP. IT HAS A SMALL STICKER IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE FRONT COVER AND AN EXTRA KOOL POSTER 24"  BY 12"  WITH  IAN A ANDERSON ON. ALSO ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE BACK COVER THERE IS A SMALL LABEL SHOWING THE (GERMAN RECORD COMPANY) AUTOGRAM LABEL WITH A CATALOGUE NUMBER 121. (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR TO SEE WHAT I MEAN ABOUT THE EXTRA STICKERS ON THE COVER AND THE EXTRA POSTER)

The album contains 11 great tracks.

The vinyl is in EX+/MINT- condition.  It is in superb condition.

The sleeve is also in EX+/MINT- condition. This is by far one of the best conditions of this sleeve you will ever find as this has been stored carefully for over 40 years.  It is in near perfect condition. If you want anymore pictures of the LP please message me and i will send you some more pics.

This comes with it a free yellow lyric sheet which is in MINT condition and ALSO the free cool poster that is superb and also in MINT  condition with the crease where it has been folded for the past 37 years as the poster is twice as long as the record sleeve.

The gradings I use are the record collector magazine gradings listed below with + or - signs to represent slightly better than the grading or slighty worse.

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
