Description

IAN DURY AND THE BLOCKHEADS Do It Yourself PORTUGAL WITH UNIQUE POSTER

Ian Dury and The Blockheads, Do It Yourself.

Original 1979 UK pressed Stiff Records stereo LP, SEEZ 14, but housed in Portugal sleeve with unique Portugal poster insert.

A superbly clean issue all round which will be tough to upgrade.

Vinyl has some light patination presumed from the poly inner bag. There is also a very small imperfection in the pressing. However spindle areas show no signs of wear and the LP play tests fully as near mint.

Labels are clean and undefaced with no wear visible.

Poster insert a strong EX. Has never been displayed and is clean and bright with just a few minor handling half moon creases.

The single sleeve is fully glossed, not laminated, and has also survived in exceptional condition. Both main panels still have a very high gloss. Edges, including spine and entry side are near completely unworn with just the exception of a fraction of tip whitening and a very small area of whitening surface loss to spine around two inches up from tail and away from any text. The spine has not been compressed. If one has to be picky the beginning of disc impression can just about be made out but this really is marginal. There is a very tiny bruise to bottom right corner, unobtrusive.

Sleeve has Crown wallpaper variant number L44167 to bottom left corner of front panel.
